Digital Innovation Contest - Data

£125k in funding to work with leading data partners

Summary

IC tomorrow, is offering five businesses up to £25k* each to encourage digital innovation in data. We are looking for innovative commercial solutions that meet broad objectives we have set in conjunction with our industry partners – Ingram Content Group, EE Limited, Ordnance Survey, Birmingham Community Healthcare Trust and British Library.

The challenges

IC tomorrow will be awarding up to five businesses individual awards of up to £25k* for the development of a service or application under five challenge areas. One award is available in each of the following categories:

• Processing data efficiently
  Partner: Ingram Content Group
• Commercialisation of mobile data
  Partner: EE Limited
• Geospatial data mapping
  Partner: Ordnance Survey
• Data visualisation and analytic decision making
  Partner: Birmingham Community Healthcare Trust
• Value of public-domain data
  Partner: British Library

Benefits

Each successful applicant will retain their intellectual property, and also:

• gain from exposure to a range of industry partners
• be able to test their proposed application or service with a relevant industry partner
• be able to promote their solution via the IC tomorrow programme
• receive support in resolving delivery issues related to the proposed solution.
